Loomis, formerly the cash handling services division of Swedish security giant Securitas, provides customers with armored transport, ATM, cash handling, check processing, and coin processing services. It operates a fleet of armored vehicles and provides emergency transport and worldwide logistics services. The company operates through locations across the US and in more than 10 Western European countries. Loomis was founded in 1852 by Lee Loomis and William Fargo as Loomis, Fargo & Co. Parent company Securitas spun off the company, which began trading on the NASDAQ OMX Nordic exchange (part of The NASDAQ OMX Group) at the end of 2008.
