Hutchison Telecommunications International Limited (HTIL) provides fixed-line and mobile communications services to customers in the East -- Far, Middle, and Near. Its services include voice calling and broadband Internet access, as well as the sale of wireless handsets and accessories. The company is a subsidiary of Hutchison Whampoa, which owns 59% of HTIL. Its parent company maintains control over telecom interests in such mature markets as Western Europe and North America. HTIL primarily does business in Israel and Hong Kong, but it also operates in Indonesia, Macao, Sri Lanka, and Vietnam.
