NP Aerospace (NPA) fears neither rust, nor projectiles, nor ... giant magnets. That's because NPA uses composite materials in protective applications where metal is more typically used. Composites are lighter, corrosion-resistant, and lend themselves easily to complex or unusual shapes. NPA's products include combat helmets, vehicle and helicopter armor, body armor, ballistic vests, ballistic plates, riot shields, water-resistant suits for special forces, and life jackets. The company also supplies pre-equipped armored vehicles for law enforcement, VIP, civil aid, press, and military clients. Pedestrian products include medical tabletops and aircraft seatbacks. NPA is 60%-owned by Morgan Crucible.
