Autocruise hopes that history repeats itself and that Henry Ford's thoughts about the matter are just "bunk." The company makes luxury motor homes with names that denote the romance of travel -- Starblazer, Starburst, Stardream, Starfire, and Stargazer -- as well as camper vans called Tempo and Rhythm. The vehicles are built on a Peugeot Boxer chassis and have features such as refrigerators, wood-grain interiors, and large showers. Options include anti-roll bars, captain seats, TV aerials, and external barbecues. Autocruise sells its motor homes through dealers in the UK and Scotland. The company was purchased by Swift Holdings (UK) Limited in 2007.
