The company, a subsidiary of the US toy retail giant Toys ''R'' Us, offers a plethora of toys, games (including video games), bikes, books, computers, and more through 70-plus retail locations throughout the UK and Ireland, and via its Web site (toysrus.co.uk). Besides toys, it also offers baby items, such as clothing and furniture, as well as products for feeding, bathing, and changing through Babies "R" Us. The company's American parent was acquired in 2005 by two private equity firms (KKR & Co. and Bain Capital) and real estate developer Vornado Realty Trust in a deal valued at $6.6 billion. Toys "R" Us Limited was founded in 1985.
