Bolton Surgical manufactures more than 6,000 different types of surgical instruments at its plant in northern England. Product categories include clamps, gouges, nippers, osteotomes, retractors, and scissors, amongst others. In addition to its standard offerings, the company will create unique products to customer specifications, and also offers repair services and instrument disposal for customers. Bolton Surgical is run by the grandson of the man who began the company in 1922, Henry Bolton, who initially delivered his instruments to local hospitals via bicycle. And no, it's not Michael Bolton.
