Dracula isn't the only connection between the British Isles and the mists of Transylvania: there's also Anglo-Romanian Bank. Founded in 1973, it is the UK operating subsidiary of Banca Comerciala Romana (BCR) -- the largest bank in Romania. Besides typical banking products such as checking and savings accounts, Anglo-Romanian offers commercial banking services and engages in import-export finance and a variety of related operations including foreign exchange and money market transactions. In addition to its UK offices, the bank owns and operates branches in Germany and Romania. It has been a subsidiary of BCR since 2001.
