Volvo Car UK has some sweet rides for UK tastes. The company is part of Volvo Car Corporation, which has been a subsidiary of Ford Motor since the US parent acquired the Swedish carmaker in 1999. (Ford has announced plans to sell Volvo Car.) The UK arm sells some 10 models of Volvo autos imported from Sweden, Belgium, and the Netherlands. Volvo Car UK also operates a corporate fleet division (some 80% of its business is generated by the corporate sector), offers financing through Volvo Car Finance, insurance through Volvo Owners Insurance, as well as roadside assistance and parts and service to Volvo owners.
