The company, the UK distribution arm of Sweden-based Scania AB, distributes heavy trucks, buses used for public transit, and industrial and marine engines to a nationwide network of more than 90 locations. It trades in the eastern counties of UK under the name TruckEast Limited, following the integration of dealers Ro-Truck and Derek Jones Commercials. The company also provides leasing and financing services. Additionally, Scania (Great Britain) arranges for the export of used vehicles. One of the UK's largest suppliers of heavy trucks, it has almost a 17% market share. Scania (Great Britain) began distributing vehicles during the mid-1960s.
