Apex Digital is rapidly approaching the pinnacle of DVD home entertainment. The company makes DVD players and more. Its consumer electronics product line-up of products includes high definition LCD TVs, digital converter boxes, DVD home theater systems, portable CD and DVD players, and related accessories. Apex even developed its own game console dubbed ApeXtreme but it was never launched. Founded in 1999 by president David Ji and former executive Ancle Hsu, the company's products are sold through consumer electronics specialty retailers (hhgregg) and big-box retailers (Best Buy), as well as through mass merchants (Wal-Mart) and club stores (Costco Wholesale).
