Voyager Oil & Gas is involved in energy exploration and production in the northern US. Formerly known as ante4, it has oil and gas rights covering about 98,000 acres in North Dakota and Montana, including the Bakken oil formation and Heath Shale Formation. ante4 was previously a publicly traded shell company until it acquired Plains Energy Investments and changed its name in 2010. It had once been involved in the poker-events business but sold its World Poker Tour TV series to Peerless Media, a unit of online poker operator bwin.party, in 2009.
