Solexa is developing research methods including DNA sequencing, gene expression, genotyping, and micro-RNA analysis to allow scientists to analyze individual genomes for drug development and personalized medicine. Solexa Ltd. became a wholly owned UK subsidiary of US-based Solexa following the merger with Lynx Therapeutics in 2005.
