From its Amish hub in the heartland of Ohio, Holmes Wheel Shop is fine just sittin' here watchin' the wheels go 'round and 'round. The company is the world's largest manufacturer of wooden wheels for horse buggies, carriages, wagons, and carts. It also makes wooden stirrups, stakes for surveyors' use, and wood mounts for rubber stamps. The company uses air-dried hickory wood to craft its wheels in a broad range of sizes. Customers include the Amish community, Walt Disney World (for popcorn carts), and other customers from around the world. The enterprise is co-owned by president Ron Clark and VP Paul Stutzman.
