This Warren needs no commission, just a cooperative, in order to deliver electric results to the people. Warren Rural Electric Cooperative Corporation (Warren RECC) provides its customers with electricity, water, security systems, surge suppression equipment, and long distance telephone service, as well as with floodlighting and street lighting. The electric cooperative serves more than 55,300 customers in an 8-county service area (Barren, Butler, Edmonson, Grayson, Logan, Ohio, Simpson, and Warren counties) in south central Kentucky. Warren RECC also provides natural gas (through its Millennium Energy unit) and propane (via a partnership with Energy Partners) to customers in its service region.
