Physiotherapy Associates wants you to get physical -- physical therapy, that is. The company provides occupational, physical, and speech rehabilitation services through approximately 700 facilities across more than 30 states. Many of the firm's patients are injured workers or athletes recovering from orthopedic injuries or neurological conditions; it also offers wound care for diabetic patients, as well as pediatric and geriatric therapy as well as orthotics and prosthetics. Physiotherapy Associates, formerly a subsidiary of Stryker, merged with Benchmark Medical in 2007 and is majority owned by investment firm Water Street Healthcare Partners.
