In business to keep cool, AmeriCold Logistics is a leading provider of temperature-controlled warehousing and distribution services. The company offers about 545 million cu. ft. of storage space for refrigerated, frozen, and dry merchandise in more than 100 facilities throughout the US and in Canada, including 10 regional distribution centers. Major customers have included ConAgra, General Mills, Heinz, and Tyson Foods. AmeriCold Logistics is owned by AmeriCold Realty Trust, which in turn is controlled by investment firm Yucaipa. Vornado Realty Trust sold its interest in AmeriCold to Yucaipa in 2008.
