KinderCare Learning Centers helps prepare the kids of today for the world of tomorrow. One of the world's largest for-profit operators of child care facilities, KinderCare provides educational programs for kids from six weeks to 12 years old. Some 200,000 children are enrolled in more than 1,900 early childhood education community centers, 656 before-and-after school programs, and 123 employer-sponsored centers in 39 states and the District of Columbia. Operations include Children's Discovery Centers, Children's World, Knowledge Beginnings, and Magic Years. The company also runs high school distance learning programs. KinderCare was acquired in 2005 by child care provider Knowledge Learning Corporation.
