K-Tron International helps keep manufacturers well fed. Through its K-Tron Process Group subsidiary, the company makes feeders that let manufacturers control the flow of solid bulk and liquid materials during manufacturing processes by weight and volume. It also makes pneumatic conveying systems, including vacuum and pressure systems that precisely control the flow of ingredients used by the pharmaceutical, food, chemical, and plastics industries. K-Tron International's companies make size reduction equipment, too, used to crush coal and wood products. Subsidiary K-Tron Electronics produces and tests electronic assemblies for K-Tron as well as sells to regional producers.
