Investors Title insures you in case your land is, well, not completely yours. It's the holding company for Investors Title Insurance and Northeast Investors Title Insurance, which underwrite land title insurance and sell reinsurance to other title companies. (Title insurance protects those who invest in real property against loss resulting from defective titles.) Investors Title Insurance serves customers from about 30 offices in North Carolina, South Carolina, Michigan, and Nebraska, and through branches or agents in 20 additional states. Northeast Investors Title operates through an agency office in New York. Founder and CEO J. Allen Fine and his family own more than 20% of Investors Title.
