Cousins Properties manages a primo brood of office, multi-family, and retail holdings. The real estate investment trust (REIT) invests in, develops, and manages commercial and residential properties, primarily in the Southeast. Its portfolio (some of which is owned through joint ventures) includes 7.5 million sq. ft. of office space, about a dozen shopping centers, 25 residential properties, and nearly 10,000 acres of land. Most properties are located in Atlanta; other core markets include California, Florida, and Texas. Deloitte & Touche, American Cancer Society, and Bank of America are among its major tenants.
