Southerners like their drinks sweet, and for Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated (CCBCC), there's nothing sweeter than a Coke. CCBCC produces, bottles, and distributes beverages, principally the products of The Coca-Cola Company. Its distribution area is mainly in the southeastern US. The company is the #2 Coke bottler in the US (behind Coca-Cola Enterprises), serving areas in 11 US states -- home to almost 19 million prospective and hopefully thirsty consumers. Coca-Cola Classic accounts for more than 50% of CCBCC's sales. The company does, however, own its own brands, including vitamin-enhanced Respect and Tum-E Yummies; energy drinks Frigid Dog, Scalded Dog, and Strait Dog; and Country Breeze tea.
