Aisan Industry's products inject life into a car's growl. The company manufactures and markets automotive fuel systems, from throttle bodies to fuel pumps, fuel injectors, intake modules, and EFI systems for motorcycles. The lineup includes related products such as carbon canisters, engine valves, and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and compressed natural gas (CNG) engines. The company operates three plants in Japan and about a dozen outside the country, dotting China, the Czech Republic, France, and the US (Franklin Precision Industry). Toyota controls about a third of Aisan, and Denso some 10%. Founded in 1938 to make war supplies, Aisan shifted to auto parts after WWII.
