Contrary to its name, Lanesborough REIT doesn't invest in lanes and boroughs. Instead, the real estate investment trust invests primarily in residential, retail, industrial, and office properties across Canada. Its portfolio currently consists of more than 30 multi-family residential projects, four commercial properties with about 225,000 sq. ft. of leasable space, and three senior housing complexes. Properties are located in Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, the Northwest Territories, Ontario, and Saskatchewan. Lanesborough's overall portfolio is valued at more than $350 million. The company was established in 2002.
