It's beyond human -- it's lamb. Transhumance Holdings (named after the seasonal movement of livestock between mountainous and lowland pastures) does business as Superior Farms -- the largest processor of lamb in the US. The company obtains domestic and Australian lamb for the US retail and food service markets. Superior Farms also processes veal. Established in 1963, Transhumance sources lambs from the Western and Mountain US states.
