Alaska Seafood Company sells, well, seafood from Alaska. The company produces smoked, canned, and cured seafood products, including smoked salmon in pouches; canned salmon, halibut, and Pacific keta; and salmon jerky, caviar, sausage, and, not forgetting Fido, smoked salmon pet treats. All of its seafood products are made using wild, free swimming fish. In addition turning out its own seafood products, Alaska Seafood also provides custom-processing and packaging for salmon fishermen. Processing options for salmon include hot smoking (kippers); dry brining and Alder-wood smoking (lox); nitrite/nitrate-free canning (fillets in a tuna-fish-sized can); and fresh vacuum-packing (for halibut and salmon).
