The company processes some 16 million ducks a year sourced from 140 partner farms. Its products include duck legs and breasts and whole duck, as well as many value added items. Maple Leaf Farms sells chicken products under the brands Milford Valley Farms and Mighty Bites. In addition to consumer products, the company supplies both retailers and foodservice operators. The family-owned business was founded in 1958 by Donald Wentzel.
