Addison Whitney constructs identities and brands for its clients, with a particular emphasis on product and brand naming. It develops and implements brands across the Internet as well as designs verbal strategies and logos. Operating offices in Germany and San Francisco, the firm has served such clients as DuPont, Duracell, Pfizer, and Eli Lilly and Co. In May 2007, inVentiv Health, a communications and outsourcing services firm specializing in the life sciences and pharmaceutical industries, acquired the company. Addison Whitney was subsequently integrated into inVentiv's communications division as a wholly owned subsidiary.
