Like the city of its headquarters, some of Bernardo Fashions' products are so nice you have to say them twice. The company designs and markets outerwear and sportswear for men and women. Bernardo Fashions first racked up sales with machine-washable and machine-dryable suede. It later hung out faux shearling, faux-faux shearling, leather, stretch suede, and wool cashmere garments on its product line. The clothing is sold in department stores nationwide, including Nordstrom and Marshall Field's. Bernardo Fashions was founded in Montreal in 1980 to bring European style to North America.
