The company is a fresh vegetable grower and shipper located in the Rio Grande Valley of Texas. It raises, harvests, and packages a veritable colander full fresh fruits and vegetables: broccoli, cantaloupe and honeydew melons, carrots, onions, sweet corn, and watermelon. The company then sells its fresh produce under the Penguin brand name, to food brokers and chain food stores. Owned and operated by the Arnold family, A-W Produce was founded in 1982 by president Danny Arnold.
