The New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority has flowered into one of the Garden State's biggest sources of entertainment. The company operates the Meadowlands Sport Complex, which includes Giants Stadium (home of the New York Giants and Jets), The IZOD Center (formerly Continental Airlines Arena; home of the New Jersey Nets), and thoroughbred racing facility Meadowlands Racetrack. New Jersey Sports also operates Monmouth Park Racetrack in Oceanport; the Atlantic City Convention Center and Boardwalk Hall; the Wildwoods Convention Center; and the New Jersey Hall of Fame. New Jersey Sports was established by the state in 1971.
