Basepoint offers a homebase for businesses. It owns and manages about 20 office centers in southern and southeastern England, which it leases on short-term, temporary, and flexible terms mainly to small- and mid-sized businesses. Established in 1988, the firm has more than 800 individual units in operation or under development. Basepoint's "easy in - easy out" agreement allows renters to move out with only two weeks notice. The company develops and operates these properties in partnership with regional development agencies seeking to stimulate local economic activity. ACG Rented Properties acquired Basepoint in late 2005.
