PlaneStation (formerly Wiggins Group) operated airports in Europe and North America, but it is now in administration. It also owns Irish low-fare carrier EUJet, which operated flights from PlaneStation's airports, but closed operations in July 2005. EUJet will also be placed into administration by an Irish practitioner. Planestation had hoped to capitalize on the low-fare carrier craze by offering cheap flights to major European destinations from its less busy airports in the UK. PlaneStation appointed Grant Thornton as administrators in July 2005 after its banks withdrew support.
