Schenker, Inc., doing business as DB Schenker USA, serves as the US-based arm of Germany's Schenker AG. The company provides airfreight and ocean freight forwarding and logistics services, including customs brokerage and supply chain management. The company has hubs in California, Florida, Georgia, New Jersey, Ohio, and Texas. With 140 branch offices, it has done business in the US since 1947 as a component of Schenker AG's worldwide network. It also maintains about 15 million sq. ft. of warehouse space. Part of the DB Schenker unit of German rail operator Deutsche Bahn, Schenker AG expanded in the US by integrating freight forwarder BAX Global's operations with DB Schenker USA in early 2009.
