It also publishes women's health magazine Shape, as well as a number of other magazines including Flex, Men's Fitness, and Natural Health. In addition to publishing its own titles, the company also distributes and markets other publishers' periodicals. American Media is owned by a group of investment firms including Angelo, Gordon & Co. The company emerged from Chapter 11 bankruptcy in late 2010 after it was able to restructure its debt.
