Turner Broadcasting System (TBS) is a leading operator of cable TV networks with a portfolio that includes Turner Network Television (TNT), the TBS Superstation, and several CNN news channels. TBS also operates truTV, the Cartoon Network, and Turner Classic Movies. In addition, the company oversees several online publishing operations, including video game site GameTap and stock car racing information portal NASCAR.com. Founded by broadcasting pioneer R.E. "Ted" Turner, TBS is now the primary cable television subsidiary of media titan Time Warner.
