Nu Horizons Electronics sees new electronic components on the horizon. The company distributes active components (microprocessors, memory chips, diodes, transistors) from manufacturers such as Atmel, IDT, Marvell, ON Semiconductor, STMicroelectronics, Vitesse Semiconductor, and Xilinx. Subsidiary NIC Components is the exclusive North American distributor of passive components (capacitors and resistors) made by Japan's Nippon Industries. Nu Horizons also offers supply chain management services, such as warehousing, inventory control, purchasing, and transportation, through its Titan Supply Chain Services subsidiary. About two-thirds of sales are to customers in North America; Nu Horizons is expanding overseas.
