The firm makes premium-priced strength-building gear and cardio fitness equipment sold to commercial markets, including health clubs, hotels, and schools, and to consumers via independent retailers. Cybex's selection of products includes stationary bikes, treadmills, free weights, and single- and multi-station strength-training equipment. It sells its products through about 70 distributors worldwide. The firm's Cybex UK subsidiary provides sales and distribution throughout Europe. Chairman John Aglialoro and his wife, director Joan Carter, own nearly 50% of Cybex through investment company UM Holdings.
