As centerpiece of the Ali Group, Ali SpA manufactures and supplies commercial and institutional food service equipment, used for such tasks as cooking, refrigeration, washing, and beverage dispensing. Through its subsidiaries Ali manufactures and sells its products in Europe, North America, Russia, Japan, China, the Middle East and Australia. Its group of companies include 68 brands. In the US the company operates Aladdin Temp-Rite (cook-serve and cook-chill systems) and Champion (commercial dishwashing equipment), among others. Customers include major restaurants, hotels, institutions, and airports. Chairman and CEO Luciano Berti started the private company as Comenda in 1963.
