Independent photo agency Zuma Press has zoomed in on digital images. The company maintains an archive of more than 3 million pictures, about 2 million of which are available for download via the company's Web site. Images from Zuma have appeared on the covers of magazines such as People, Time, and Newsweek. Zuma represents the work of more than 1,200 photographers worldwide. It also has a large collection of movie stills that date back to the 1800s. The company was founded in 1995.
