Claude Resources digs up dirt clods to get to precious metals. The company is currently mining gold only at its Seabee mine in northern Saskatchewan, though it does have other exploration projects underway in Manitoba and Ontario. Its Madsen property in the prolific Red Lake district of Ontario is the company's most promising. Claude produces about 40,000 ounces of gold annually at its Seabee mine; it has proved and probable reserves of about 145,000 ounces of gold. While gold accounts for about three-quarters of its sales, the company also produces natural gas, natural gas liquids, and oil.
