Eagle Exploration is digging its talons into some big nests. The company was originally hatched as an oil and gas exploration firm but turned its eye towards real estate in the early 1990s. Eagle Exploration now operates as a property investment and development firm. The company is a member of a consortium that has invested in 320 acres of undeveloped land north of Denver for residential development. Eagle Exploration also owns stakes in some oil and gas properties and related assets (still its sole source of revenue). CEO Raymond Joeckel and his family have a controlling stake in the company.
