CARC (Clemson Area Retirement Center) owns and operates Clemson Downs -- not a place to play the ponies, but somewhere to spend your golden years. The South Carolina retirement community provides independent and assisted living apartments, as well as more than 50 nursing home beds. Amenities include home health care services, music and church programs, and an onsite skilled nursing center. CARC also offers resident and family social services, as well as health education programs.
