The glow you see emanating from Sun Entertainment might just come from a star -- like Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Roy Orbison, or Jerry Lee Lewis. Sun Entertainment controls the rights to a catalog of more than 7,000 songs from those artists and others, including music recorded for Sun Records in the 1950s and 1960s. In addition to licensing its songs for use in compilations, television shows, motion pictures, and advertisements, Sun Entertainment also issues recorded song collections sold in such non-traditional outlets as convenience stores, truck stops, and auto parts stores. Sam Phillips founded Sun Records in 1952. He discovered Elvis two years later.
