The company and its subsidiaries produce lumber and wood products such as plywood, lumber, and flooring. It also owns and operates timber land, sawmills, and veneer plants. Ainsworth Lumber's products include concrete forming plywood, plywood panels, oriented strand board (OSB), and flooring. As a result of the recent decline in the homebuilding market, Ainsworth Lumber has seen a drastic decline in sales and responded by restructuring in 2008.
