A subsidiary of L-3 Communications, Microdyne provides call center support for consumers and repair services for companies that would rather not staff those operations. It also offers after-market logistics services, specializing in parts fulfillment and product remarketing and recycling. The company's customers include manufacturers of a wide variety of technology products, Internet services providers, software companies, and public institutions. It has six support and repair facilities in the US. L-3 Communications acquired Microdyne in 1999.
