Abington Resources has working interests in two oil and gas producing wells in Saskatchewan. Prior to 2006 it had owned exploration and development rights on precious metals properties in the US. It had used the revenue it made from the oil and gas wells to pay for its exploration activities. In 2006 the company terminated the agreements on those properties. Three years later it changed its name from Abington Ventures.
