Aspen Exploration's aspiration is to explore for and produce oil and gas in northern California and in Wyoming. The company holds interests in 117 wells (and operates 63) in the Sacramento Valley. Aspen Exploration has estimated proved reserves of 129,845 barrels of oil and 2.7 billion cu. ft. of natural gas and has more than 2,778 net acres of developed leasehold property. Calpine and Enserco Energy accounted for 77% and 15%, respectively, of Aspen Exploration's oil and gas sales in fiscal 2007. CEO R. V. Bailey owns almost 20% of the company.
