It may be hard to understand but you can get to the core of it if you know that Revelation Records revels in punk. The company has released classic hardcore punk albums by bands such as War Zone, Youth of Today, and Judge. Bands currently on Revelation's roster include The Plot To Blow Up The Eiffel Tower, Gorilla Biscuits, Down to Nothing, Quicksand, and Since By Man. The independent label has distributed music through companies such as Victory, Alternative Tentacles, and Relapse. Revelation Records was founded in 1987 by president Jordan Cooper in New Haven, Connecticut. The label moved to Huntington Beach, California, a few years later.
