Ram Air Freight provides time-sensitive freight delivery services, including the ferrying of cancelled checks for the banking industry. Operating primarily in the mid-Atlantic and Southeastern US, the carrier also helps carry cargo for express delivery companies such as UPS. Ram Air Freight serves more than 30 destinations, including a number of smaller markets, from its operations base at the Raleigh-Durham (North Carolina) International Airport. The carrier operates a fleet of about 40 turboprop aircraft including Beech and Cessna models. Ram Air Avionics, a division of the company, specializes in avionics installation and repair. Ram Air Freight first took flight in 1982.
