The private equity firm invests in companies in a range of industries, including broadcasting, chemicals, consumer products, financial services, health care, and manufacturing. An active investor, it specializes in leveraged buyouts, restructurings, and turnaround situations. Portfolio companies include McKechnie Aerospace, J.G.Wentworth, IASIS Healthcare Corporation, and Ace Cash Express. Since its founding in 1988, JLL Partners has managed private equity funds totaling more than $3 billion.
